An oil-free air compressor equipment has a lot of parameters, different parameter units are not necessarily the same, DNDL editorial summarized a few parameters about the power for your reference, I hope to bring you help.
First, the work
Mechanical work can be defined as the product of the force acting on an object and the distance moved in the direction of the force. Like heat, work is a type of energy that can be transferred from one object to another. The difference is that force replaces temperature.
II. Power
Power is the amount of work done per unit of time. It is a physical quantity that calculates how fast work is done. Its international unit is the watt: 1W = 1J/s.
Third, the shaft power
Drive machine to the compressor shaft, so that it meets the design load capacity of oil-free air compressor running the actual power.
Fourth, the power factor
In an AC circuit, the cosine of the phase difference (Φ) between the voltage and the current is called the power factor, which is expressed by the symbol cosΦ. Numerically, the power factor is the ratio of the active power to the apparent power, i.e. cosΦ=P/S.
V. Specific power
The power consumed by an oil-free air compressor to inhale a unit of air volume to complete the compression process in a unit of time. Usually expressed in Kw/M3/Min. Under the same exhaust pressure, the lower the specific power, the less power consumed by the oil-free air compressor, so it is an important index to evaluate the performance of oil-free compressor.
