Recently, the state has issued a research project on energy efficiency standards for volumetric air compressors in China and the preparation of technology roadmap for energy-saving applications, aiming to analyze the energy efficiency level of air compressors in China, the technical situation of skills, and put forward the energy efficiency limit targets of air compressors and the supporting technical measures, in order to comprehensively promote the improvement of China's air compressor energy efficiency level.
In order to carry out this work, the Committee visited and researched six units in East China from March 20th to 23rd.
Research summary
1. In the 22-500kW power range of the general power of volumetric air compressors, screw air compressors have become the absolute main models, piston air compressors only in the small flow range to retain the market, and other sliding vane, scroll and other air compressors also have their own market, but the proportion is very small. The key model of energy-saving examination in China will be the screw air compressor. 2.
2. Screw compressors of various manufacturers have good energy efficiency performance and expansion potential in small and medium power ranges, but there is relatively little room for development of energy efficiency in high-power models.
3. the use of frequency conversion, two-stage compression and other technologies, many screw air compressors can reach the current energy efficiency standards of the level 1. 2 level of energy efficiency screw air compressor is relatively more common, but by no means all the products of all enterprises can reach the level 2. 4. some enterprises in scientific research and laboratory research.

The energy-efficiency standards of Europe and the United States affect the domestic enterprises, and each enterprise has its own good plan in the screw profile, head manufacturing accuracy, and optimization of the whole system, with a view to launching their new high-efficiency, energy-saving products in the next two to three years.
