Xu Xiaofeng, member of the Standing Committee of Wujiang District CPC Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Wujiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Du Jianhua, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Wujiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Li Yi, Vice President and General Manager of Ingersoll Rand Compression Technologies and Services Asia Pacific, Rolf Paeper, Vice President of Global Product Management and Marketing of Ingersoll Rand Compression Technologies and Services, as well as the distributor partners of the division in Asia Pacific, and other more than 400 guests Gathered at Tongli Lake Resort in Wujiang to celebrate the launch of the new product.

Nowadays, industrial energy saving has become the top priority of national energy saving work. Air compressor systems can be widely used in many important industries, such as iron and steel, smelting, petrochemical, mining, infrastructure, food, light industry, textile and so on. According to the data of Wind Information, the total annual power consumption of air compressor system accounts for about 9% of the total national power generation, and according to the estimation of 25% energy saving rate of air compressor system, the market size of China's air compressor system energy-saving service field has increased by more than 36% from 2010 to 2014. As China's industrial level moves to a new height of development, the market size of energy saving in air compressor systems will still rise steadily. Therefore, how to promote the technological progress and management effectiveness of air compressor systems is crucial to promoting industrial structural adjustment and optimization and upgrading, as well as the development of a green and low-carbon economy.

As a global leader in compression systems and services, Ingersoll Rand has always responded positively to the industry's demand for high-efficiency energy saving and the development of a low-carbon economy, and has continued to improve the upgrading of its products and enhance their energy-efficiency performance. Mr. Li Yi, Vice President of Ingersoll Rand Compression Technology and Services Asia Pacific, said, “China's manufacturing industry is undergoing industrial upgrading, and the future market is the market for truly energy-efficient and energy-saving products. What Ingersoll Rand wants to do is not only to provide equipment for customers, but also to make sure that customers can significantly improve the efficiency of their enterprises through the use of our products and services.

The RS200 and RS250 air compressors are now included in Ingersoll Rand's second-generation R-Series portfolio, and together they will provide reliable service to customers who need to operate 24/7 and require large quantities of high-quality compressed air. The results of the internal test show that the large-volume air compressors with improved energy efficiency and design can help customers save up to $185,000 per unit per year in energy costs compared to the old models. The RS200 and RS250 are the third new models of Ingersoll Rand's second-generation R-Series air compressors, following the launch of Ingersoll Rand's 30-37kW fixed-frequency and variable-frequency air compressors in 2015 and 2016, respectively.

Today, only air compressors that guarantee unit reliability and outstanding energy efficiency can meet the new needs of factories to reduce energy consumption and increase industrial productivity. Rolf Paeper, vice president of global product management and marketing for Ingersoll Rand Compression Technologies and Services, said, “The second generation of Ingersoll Rand's R-Series RS200-250 micro-oil screw compressors, with its innovative state-of-the-art technology and superior performance, will help customers improve overall system reliability and reduce operating costs, with an estimated savings of more than $180,000 per year on energy costs.

V-Shield technology utilizes a *maximum* anti-twist and anti-deformation O-ring to avoid internal line leakage. This means that no matter how many times the system is reconnected, its performance will not be affected.

The suspension cooling system utilizes a non-rigid connection to the heat exchanger that allows for expansion and contraction, improving overall system reliability. The number one cause of heat exchanger failure in the past has been traditional welded connections that limit the ability to expand and contract.

The Ultra EL lubricant lasts up to 16,000 hours, twice as long as other common rotary lubricants. It will help keep the compressor in *optimal* operating condition, significantly reducing unit downtime and lowering life cycle costs.

In addition, all Ingersoll Rand second-generation R-Series compressors feature the Xe Series Intelligent Controller, which continuously monitors key operating parameters and automatically adjusts parameter settings to meet operational needs. the Xe145 controller also has built-in performance analytics and chart tracking,* allowing up to four compressors to be controlled at the same time.

Energy costs are based on 6,000 hours of annual runtime and $0.43/kWh of electricity.
