In the liquid expander experimental process of low-temperature thermal and physical properties of the mass is difficult to measure, the experimental conditions are complex and low-temperature cavitation thermal effect of significant problems, greatly restricting the design and development of the liquid expander.
Currently, there is no experimental platform for liquid expander for compressed air energy storage system in the world, for this reason, the R&D Center of Energy Storage of the Institute has designed and built an experimental platform for liquid expander. The platform consists of power system, dynamometer system and control system, and can carry out liquid expander performance experiments with flow rate ranging from 0 to 260m?/h, power ranging from 0 to 90kW, and rotational speed ranging from 0 to 3,000r/min.
At present, the experimental platform has been built and successfully completed the equipment and system debugging, becoming the first international compressed air energy storage system liquid expander experimental platform. The platform can be used for supercritical compressed air and liquid air energy storage system liquid expander performance experiments and internal flow experiments, but also a variety of liquids, gas-liquid two-phase expander to carry out experimental research. The completion of the experimental platform will provide a platform for advanced compressed air energy storage system R & D basis, but also for petrochemical and air separation refrigeration liquid expander R & D to provide support.
