  The extremely compact GA 75-110 VSD+ delivers reliable air quality while saving energy by an average of 50%. It is a disruptive innovation for the industry. With the new GA 75-110 VSD+, Atlas Copco meets and exceeds its customers' efficiency standards and targets.

  Whereas conventional fixed-speed compressors are unable to adapt to frequent fluctuations in compressed air demand, Atlas Copco's variable-speed drive is able to closely match air demand by automatically adjusting motor speed. As a result, the VSD+ saves energy by an average of 50%.

  The disruptive innovation of the VSD+ is the integrated design of the drive chain, motor and compressor head. The built-in permanent magnet motor was designed independently and autonomously, with a special focus on cooling requirements and efficiency. There are no couplings or gears between the motor and the screw head, so it is directly driven, very quiet and very energy efficient. The drive system of the VSD+ is a closed circuit with oil cooling of both the motor and the screw rotor, which is another way to save energy.

  In addition to the drive chain, the GA 75-110 VSD+ is equipped with a number of high-quality components, including an innovative Neos frequency converter and a fully integrated dryer. As a result, customers can enjoy:
